2012 predictions: Premier Mobile MD Jason Yeomans

Mobile News
February 2, 2012

Customers will demand more from their providers, according to Premier Mobile managing director Jason Yeomans, leading them to enabling new technologies and smarter ways of working to meet these needs

“The market will further consolidate and customers who have already become far less transient year after year will continue to demand more from their network and technology partners.

“In turn, we have to embrace this shift and empower our customers by enabling new technologies, creating smarter ways of working and allowing them to utilise technology without huge cost implications to scale their businesses and drive efficiencies.

“In an economy that will see further shrinkage, it is no longer about just saving money, but fundamentally changing the way we all go to work. Future business growth will be achieved in an entirely new way.

“For us and our peers in this market it is about effectively managing technology – our core business is about the people, not technology.

“The networks on the other hand have to do both, so they have to continue to lead and create new technologies that fuel the market in the first place.

“I can see the early adopters, who already have the infrastructure and have invested heavily during 2010 and 2011, beginning to pull further ahead as their competitors are forced to play catch-up.”
