Voice Mobile managing director Ian Watson thinks we should keep an eye on Nokia releasing a Microsoft-based tablet to rival the iPad, whilst Everything Everywhere will make its unified communications move
“It will be intriguing to see how Nokia’s relationship with Microsoft develops and whether it can produce a tablet to rival the iPad. It will also be a big year for BlackBerry as it looks to retain its foothold in the UK, while Apple’s success will hinge on the launch of the iPhone 5.
“UC will be more common, with Everything Everywhere launching its proposition in 2012. The industry will continue to consolidate, with more mergers, acquisitions and tie-ups between computer and telephony companies.”
