The app is available to download on Apple, Android and Huawei devices

Three UK has launched Three+, the brand new rewards app that offers exclusive rewards, discounts and experiences for pay as you go and pay monthly customers.

The app is available to download now and is free for Three members.

There will be exclusive deals available across sectors including: food and drink, cinema, days out and live music events.

Three UK director of new products, propositions and insights Andrew Foy said: “We’ve gone for a very simple experience for customers intentionally.

“It’s available to all of our customers for free. There are no points, there aren’t any tiers and we’ve taken feedback from customers that they want to keep it as simple as possible, but we’re making sure we give them benefits.”

There is something for everyone as there will be pre-sale tickets to nine festivals across the UK next year, a guided tour of Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea FC who Three sponsors, and you can also receive certain rewards on your birthday too.

The app was tested on Three UK employees and 94 per cent of staff rated the app very high in terms of usability.

Wuntu vs Three+

Three UK previously had an app called Wuntu that would offer discounts, but Andrew Foy says that Three+ is very different from its predecessor.

“I think Wuntu was a marketplace type experience that would offer third party discounts and benefits. I think the difference with this one is that we’re launching this one as a loyalty program,” he said.

“We’re not going to load hundreds of offers into this app. It’s about making sure that we put tailored offers in there from partners that our customers are asking for.

“All the partners we’ve selected are not there by accident, we’ve done the research, we’ve looked at segmentation, our customers have then told us what brands they want, and they are the brands we have spoken to.”

Three UK will continue to personalise and build on its new app, and have a roadmap of plans set out for the next 12 months.
