Radius has been active in Northern Ireland with acquisition of two telecoms firms

Radius Connect has opened its new state-of-the-art offices in Belfast this month as part of multimillion-pound investment plans.

The new base in Clarendon Dock, Belfast, will act as a catalyst for further expansion across Ireland.

Radius already has offices in Derry City and Galways, while Radius Payment Solutions owns DCI, the island’s largest fuel card business.

Radius serves over 40,000 customers with telecoms, fuel cards and telematics across the island of Ireland.

The firm provides mobile, fixed line and cloud services based on solutions from providers including, Microsoft and Gamma plus operators  Vodafone, O2, and EE.

It follows the recent acquisitions of telecoms firms Rainbow Communications and Connect Telecom, that have now become part of Radius Connect’s telecom business.

Radius Connect regional director for Ireland Stephen McQuoid said: “Radius has a long, strong record of business success in Northern Ireland and across the island.

“We’re delighted that with this additional investment in Belfast, we’re unifying and strengthening our talented and skilled teams under the Radius Connect brand to deliver a new era of growth and even more support for businesses across the region who rely on us for the best technology, telecoms and advice.”

Jobs boost

As part of ambitions to grow in Northern Ireland, Radius has employed 30 new staff to its Belfast team since last month, as the firm looks to bolster its customer sales and services teams.

There are further plans to add more in the year ahead, the company confirmed, while a graduate scheme has recently been introduced.

“Our business customers are focused on recovery and growth, and we are committed to delivering solutions that will make that easy and secure,” added McQuoid.
