Customers can get hands-on with the smartphone in 10 of the retailer’s stores today before it is made available for pre-sale tomorrow
Phones 4u is offering live Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphones for demonstration in 10 of its stores today before the device is made available for pre-order tomorrow.
Customers will be able to see live demos of the device’s features, as well as get hands-on with it for the first time.
Those interested in buying the Galaxy S5 can then return to their local store tomorrow or visit the Phones 4u website from 00:01 to pre-order it. It will be released nationwide on April 11.

Phones 4u chief marketing officer Scott Hooton said: “We know that anticipation is quickly accelerating for the arrival of the new Samsung Galaxy S5. Our pre-registrations for the new handset have now reached an impressive five figures.”
The Samsung Galaxy S5 was at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 24. Samsung has sold more 200 million smartphones in the Galaxy S portfolio since their launch in 2010 – a sales figure that has doubled from just over a year ago.
