Sambrook quits Data Select after five and half years to become new sales director at 20:20 Mobile
20:20 Mobile has appointed Data Select business development and operations director Philip Sambrook as its new sales director.
Data Select sales director Ian Miller will take on Sambrook’s fulfilment accounts whilst current marketing director Jason Kemp will head up the retail team.
Sambrook, who joined Data Select in 2007, will team up with the Crewe-based hardware distributor later this month.
His appointment is understood to part of an expansion of 20:20 sales team.
Prior to joining Data Select, Sambrook spent two years heading up Carphone Warehouse’s SIM-free distribution business Mobile Phone Express before it closed in October 2007. He later joined former airtime distributor Fone Logistics as its head of sales for two years.
Data Select confirmed Sambrook has left the firm. 20:20 Mobile was unavailable for comment.
