Device will launch in the UK on November 13
Huawei has announced the new Mate 40 Pro will be available to pre-order in the UK ahead of its release on November 13.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is the company’s latest flagship device and features a 6.76-inch 1344 x 2772 screen with curved edges and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The Mate 40 Pro features a 50MP main camera with a 20MP ultra-wide lens and a 12MP periscope lens. This comes with OIS and 5x optical zoom along with a 13MP dual-lens camera and a 3D depth sensor on the front of the device.
The device is powered by the Kirin 9000 chipset which is the world’s first 5nm 5G processor. The smartphone comes with 8GB of RAM and either 256MB or 512MB internal storage.
While the smartphone will lack Google services, it will come equipped with the Huawei Mobile Services and the Huawei App Gallery.
Pre-orders are available until 12th November from the Huawei Store, as well as from selected operators and retailers including EE and Three. Customers who pre-order can get a free Huawei Sound X speaker (via redemption).
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro will retail for £1099.99.
