Dealer builds on Sunday Times success and revenue growth
Excalibur Communications has been named Vodafone’s Regional Partner of the Year at the operator’s annual Partner Awards.
The award recognises achievements in successful deployment of Vodafone’s entire mobile and fixed line product and service portfolio, as well as wider achievements in sales, revenue and customer service.
Swindon-based Excalibur’s win follows on from its being named one of the Sunday Times‘ Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For in 2020.
Last year, it saw profits rise 24 per cent annually to £1.6 million as mobile revenues increased.
“We have worked closely and constructively with Vodafone for many years, as we have looked at ways to upgrade and expand the services and customer experience we provide,” said Excalibur CEO Peter Boucher (pictured). “Its investment in fixed infrastructure and commitment to leading the mobile industry in new technologies such as 5G and IoT, has meant we’ve been able to build the mobile and digital comms solutions that today’s businesses need.”
“Excalibur has a long standing relationship with Vodafone in the partner channel, offering our entire portfolio into the UK market,” added Vodafone’s head of indirect business Kathy Quashie.
“We have seen strong revenue performance on both mobile and fixed throughout H1 along with strong pipeline opportunities. Excalibur is also fully engaged in all initiatives and strategy and continues to invest in its people and customers to ensure a great customer experience.”
