GK Telecom’s Ravi Navaratnam wins EE Channnel Partnerships Awards “Shining Star Award.

GK Telecom managing director  Ravi Navaratnam, has won EE’s new ‘Shining Star’ Award, designed to recognize “an individual who has excelled in the channel”.  

The award was presented by EE’s Channel Partnerships Director Lewis Milward and account director Andy Wilton, at the EE Partnership Awards held at Radio Rooftop in London on Thursday night (main pic l-r Millward, Navaratnam, Channel Partnership Director Samantha Howarth, Wilton)

The awards were created by EE to acknowledge outstanding partnerships and collaborations within the network and celebrate successful collaborations between EE and its partners.

GK Telecom sells approximately 500,000 EE SIMs annually through 28,000 retailers. It founded in 2000 with a primary focus on calling cards. It diversified into the prepaid SIM market in 2004 and is currently one of only four SIM-Only Distributors in the UK, selling over 100,000 SIMs per month across multiple networks. More recently, the company has launched a global eSIM available in 210 countries.”

The EE Shining Star award adds to the array of awards GK Telecom has received this year (O2 Best Pre Pay Partner, Best PayG Marketing Execution – Three), Best Marketing Independence Partner (- Smarty).
