giffgaff has announced it will be introducing two new golden goodybags on February 11, 2021.
These will be a £15 golden goodybag packed with 25GB, and a £20 golden goodybag with 100GB both will include unlimited UK calls, texts, and data. The £8 goodybag will also grow from 2GB to 3GB (50 per cent more data), as well as unlimited UK calls and texts.
On February 23, 2021, giffgaffs pay as you go rates for data are changing from 5p/mb to 10p/mb.
To purchase any ‘golden goodybag’, non-members need to buy and activate a SIM, select their chosen ‘golden goodybag’ and set the purchase to recurring whilst ensuring that they have saved a valid card payment method. Existing members need to log onto their account, select their chosen golden goodybag and set the purchase to recurring whilst ensuring they have saved a valid card payment method.
Once the above is completed and the ‘golden goodybag’ is activated, should members wish to have 5G access, they can apply for a SIM swap here for a new 5G ready SIM to be delivered within 1-2 working days.
Once it arrives, all members need to do is pop the 5G ready SIM into a 5G compatible phone and if required, enable 5G in their phone settings and do a software update, and away they go.
