The ISP currently provides fibre connectivity to over half of London boroughs

Community Fibre has announced it is supporting vulnerable communities in London with a year’s worth of full fibre broadband to assist home-schooling.

The internet service provider has revealed that vulnerable customers can receive ‘free 100 per cent’ full-fibre 50Mbps internet during the lockdown.

The service will be provided for 12 months once installed.

At the end of the year customers then have the option to pay to keep the service or cancel it, by sending back the router.

Community Fibre currently provide fibre connection to 18 London boroughs.

Community Fibre CEO Graeme Oxby commented: “Our mission is to bring better broadband to London communities and we always look for opportunities to give back to those we serve.

“It is critical to enable those who are home-schooling but struggling with slow connections or no connection to benefit from fast, reliable full-fibre broadband to help as many children as possible to continue their education and prepare their future.”
