Rugged offering closes out the year
Data Select is offering the new Hammer Explorer rugged smartphone to its partners.
The device has a 5.72-inch screen with laser pointing and NFC, as well as a 13MP camera and 8MP front camera. It has 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.
In terms of rugged specs, it is IP69 dust and water resistant, drop-resistant from two metres, and MIL-STD-801G military-certified.
Data Select’s head of vendor management and companion products Kelly Cowan-Johnson said: “The Hammer Explorer adds a new dimension of choice for our rugged focused resellers and is packed full of features, all contained within a smart form factor.”
Hammer’s UK sales manager Jack Edwards added: “We are excited to get this new rugged smartphone into the hands of Data Select’s resellers. We have worked closely with the team since launch and have established a good run rate, whilst providing high levels of support, training and channel development.”
