Scottish firm will boost Arrow’s revenues to more than £26 million and is sixth acquisition in the last five years

O2 data Centre of Excellence dealer Arrow Communications has made its sixth acquisition in five years with the purchase of Scottish unified communications provider Orca Telecom for an undisclosed fee.

Surrey-based Arrow said the acquisition of Orca, which also offers mobile services through O2 and Vodafone, will help its yearly revenues grow to more than £26 million.

Arrow also offers fixed line services through Gamma and cloud services through Mitel. CEO Chris Russell said the acquisition was an “ideal match” for Arrow which will help it strengthen its local support in Scotland, where Orca is based.

Orca employees are expected to remain with Arrow, according to Orca director Wayne Mackay.

“We are excited about working with Arrow as we share the same suppliers and, more importantly, the same culture of providing a personal service to business customers,” he added.
