It will be a five-year deal, Olive will provide Cygnet with mobile and cloud telephony solutions
Olive Communications has signed a five-year multi-million pound deal with Cygnet Health Care to transform its communications infrastructure.
This will see Olive provide Cygnet, a provider of mental health care services, integrated managed cloud telephony and enterprise mobility solutions to deliver a full set of unified communications capabilities.
Cygnet counts 6,200 members of staff across 108 sites across the UK. The upgraded systems will serve 3,000 members of staff with cloud-based communications services and mobile services to over 640 users at first, which will rise to 1,000.
Olive will also provide a dedicated support function and fully managed services across all technologies.
Competition
In phase one of the transformation, Olive transferred Cygnet’s mobile services from the O2 network to Vodafone, the latter Olive holds ‘Total Communications Partner’ status. The High Wycombe-based dealer beat O2 Business and Maintel for the mobile and telephony tender respectively.
Speaking to Mobile News, Olive Communications chief executive Martin Flick (pictured) said: “Cygnet will be one of our top 15 customers and a really important win for us and its the first of many [deals] to be struck.
“They were looking for a capable partner who had expertise in mobility and IP telephony and unified communications that has a proven track record in providing cloud solutions.
“I’m proud of what the Olive team have already delivered and excited about what our two organisations can do together going forward to continually drive productivity, efficiency and value of money.”
