Former Citation CEO Hill also takes an undisclosed share Manchester-based airtime firm
Compare52 has appointed former Citation PLC CEO Lindsay Hill as its new executive chairman. Hill is tasked with helping the Manchester-based reseller drive sales in B2B.
Compare52 provides SIM-only connections for EE, O2, and Vodafone, plus a number of MVNOs through its online widget, and already counts the likes of Academia, Laptops Direct and Envirofone among its partners.
“It’s a very exciting time to join Compare52 with its retail and B2B partner base growing on a monthly basis,” said Hill.
Hill, who has also invested an undisclosed amount into Compare52, joined healthcare firm Citation in 2001, which focuses on health and safety-based equipment and digital advice. Prior to that, he founded and served as head of commercial at City law firm Fox Williams.
Compare52 CEO Ashley Bailey added: “Lindsay has a proven track record of developing and growing businesses in both B2C and B2B. It is exciting to have him on board as we continue to expand.”
