Vodafone has updated its Official Glastonbury Festival app with live location sharing and step-counting as new features.

Vodafone is using eSIM technology and QR codes to offer Glastonbury-goers who are subscribers on other networks a free seven day trial of the network. Festival goers scan a QR code at Vodafone’s Connect and Charge stand or click on a link in the in the Official Glastonbury App (below) to get 50GB data, 500 minutes

EE ends a 20-year association as the festival’s network of choice

Over three million calls were made over the course of the event, a rise of 200,000 from 2019
