Summary
It was nice to see some enthusiasm for Windows Phone 8, with everyone except Vodafone offering a deal rather than trying to persuade me Android was better.
Three’s Stuart offered a good demo and an excellent deal on the HTC 8X to narrowly beat Milly at Phones 4U, who was a little pushy at the end of my visit.
Lewis at O2 seemed a little less enthusiastic and lost interest.
The biggest disappointment was at EE, though, where they had an advantage with an exclusive on the top-end Lumia. Sadly, the customer service was poor.
