Voda signs £15m Rolls-Royce deal

Vodafone has announced a deal with Rolls-Royce to provide the engine manufacturer with a network of over 30,000 fixed lines.

The five-year deal is estimated to be worth over £15 million. Vodafone will deploy its fixed-line service across six countries where the car maker operates. 

It will upgrade Rolls-Royce’s existing telephony infrastructure and provide a helpdesk and front line support.

Vodafone enterprise director Peter Kelly said: “This agreement clearly demonstrates the importance that Rolls-Royce places on communication and the need to work with a partner that can deliver services on the fixed line. 

“The agreement marks another step forward in the delivery of Vodafone UK’s Unified Communications strategy.”
