Virgin starts stocking HTC HD2

Virgin Media has added the HTC HD2 to its range.

The HD2 is the first HTC-branded phone from the Taiwanese manufacturer to be made available through Virgin Media. It marks the start of an expanding range of high-end handsets. It is available for free on a £30 a month, 24-month contract.

The HD2 runs off the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, comes with the HTC Sense interface, which works a user’s particular social networking and communications services into a customisable homescreen.

It comes with a 4.3-inch touchscreen, 1GHZ processor and built-in GPS, Wi-Fi and FM radio. It also has YouTube, Facebook and Twitter integration and a microSD slot for expandable memory, as well as a standard 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth.

Virgin Media director of mobile Jonathan Kini said: “The HTC HD2 is a stunning handset and the first-ever HTC-branded phone ranged by Virgin Media. Its launch kick starts a new range of high-end ahndsets coming to Virgin Media, perfect for mobile internet, social networking and entertainment on the go.”
