Nokia delays flagship store

The store was due to open this week and would have been the manufacturer’s eighth flagship store. Nokia wants 18 main retail sites across the globe.

Nokia said in a statement: “Due to recent challenges over access and infrastructure at the site, we have decided to delay the opening until after the holiday season. ”

A Nokia spokesperson said electricity problems and the wet summer weather were contributory factors. “Fast-tracking the opening was not an option.”
