KPMG Italy sticks with BlackBerry and upgrades to BB 10

The financial consultancy has bought 3,500 BlackBerry 10 smartphones as part of an upgrade to its entire mobile fleet in Italy

Financial consulting firm KPMG has bought 3,500 BlackBerry 10 smartphones.

The company’s decision to upgrade its entire staff in Italy also means it has migrated to BlackBerry’s device management software BES 10.

KPMG Milan IT lead parter Davide Grassano said: “Every day our professionals need to share confidential information and need a reliable smartphone with strong security, connectivity and price.

“The BlackBerry solution allows our users to have access to shared files and other internal resources, while also working to prevent the accidental leakage of business documents and attachments.”
