Jem wins HTC and Acer accounts
BlackBerry specialist and IT distributor Jem Telecom has won HTC and Acer handset distribution accounts.
It is now stocking the HTC Touch Pro 2, Touch Diamond 2 and Touch HD, as well as Acer handsets (pictured), including the DX900, M900 and X960.
Jem Telecom director Jason Theakston said since winning the tenders, it has picked up mobile dealers to resell the products. One of its most recent partnerships is with Olive Communications.
Jem has also signed up “hundreds” of doctors as customers since it launched a £20,000 Vodafone BlackBerry campaign in March.
The campaign aims to educate GPs about the benefits of using a BlackBerry device as well as hosted services.
