G1 Android available to dealers from January

T-Mobile has announced the Android G1 handset will be available across all channels from January.

The handset, which launched October 30, is currently only available direct from T-Mobile, and retailers Carphone Warehouse, Chitter Chatter and Fone House. But from January 1, the G1 will be available through all independent channels including Phones 4U.

T-Mobile’s head of independent retail Roger Fletcher said: “It was always our intention to put the handset out there, and available to the rest of the market in the New Year.”
