Fonehouse adding two London stores

Independent retailer Fonehouse has opened a new store in Kilburn, North London, and will sign the lease on a second London site before Christmas.

Fonehouse has closed three stores in the last two months, in Liverpool Street, Chiswick and Middlesbrough. However managing director Clive Bayley said that new openings should get Fonehouse back on par by the end of the year.

“Closing these stores has not done us any favours but the two new London shops will take our total store count to 18, which is a number I’ll be satisfied with come the end of the year,” said Bayley.
