Fone Logistics deal with OpenHand

The Enterprise version of the OpenHand software sees users connect to the OpenHand server over a TCP/IP connection. It connects to their Microsoft Exchange server to retrieve their information, which is then made available to the user’s device for £11 per device per month.

The SoHosted version adds Microsoft Hosted Exchange and Outlook Web Access, meaning everything is managed for the user at a cost of £18 per device per month.

Fone Logistics marketing director Julien Parven said: “It goes beyond BlackBerry, as it’s non-contract and isn’t device dependent. We’re offering the dealer a 40 per cent margin from the service fee.”
