20:20 Mobile becomes official distributor for Tech21

Hardware distributor continues acceleration in accessories market by penning deal with case maker

20:20 Mobile has continued its push in the accessory market by becoming an official distributor for case manufacturer Tech21.

Tech21 provides protective cases for a number of smart-phone and tablet devices including Apple, HTC, Nokia and Samsung.

The deal, which was signed last week, will see 20:20 provide fulfilment to a number of agreed UK retailers.

These are understood to include Carphone Warehouse, O2 and EE, amongst others.

20:20 has previously distributed Tech21 products as an indirect partner, purchasing through previously sole distributor Micro-P, which agreed an exclusive partnership in March last year.

20:20 Mobile marketing and purchasing director Andrew Peat (pictured) said: “Tech21 is now a market-leading brand with a unique offering in the market.

“Our joint partnership can add real value in both our retail and corporate channels.

“We have been working indirectly with Tech21 for some time but I think both parties understand the value of working more closely together.”

Jon Rogers, UK country manager at Tech21 said: “20:20 Mobile’s expertise in the UK Telecoms sector will broaden the reach of our products.”
