‘VOXI for Now’ gives customers unlimited data, minutes, and texts
Vodafone has today announced an extension of its ‘VOXI for Now’ tariff that helps people who have become unemployed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The plan gives people unlimited mobile data, minuted and texts for £10 per month for up to six months.
With unemployment at its highest figure for five years and 1.7 million people in the UK unemployed (ONS, 2021), the plan aims to help reduce monthly outgoings for the financially vulnerable.
The plan is available on Vodafone’s VOXI brand and will be available to anyone currently claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance, Employment, and Support Allowance or employment based on Universal Credit until September 31.
Those currently on the tariff will have their plan extended automatically until October 31.
The plan gives customers a 70 per cent discount and originally costs £35 per month.
