Lebara Mobile is Vodafone’s oldest UK MVNO partner
Vodafone has continued its long-term partnership with the MVNO Lebara Mobile, following the agreement of a new three-and-a-half-year deal.
As part of the new exclusive agreement Lebara Mobile customers will be able to access Vodafone’s 5G service in the coming weeks.
The 5G service is available across 129 UK towns and cities.
The partnership also sees Lebara Group able to use Vodafone’s Sponsored Roaming service to give its customers roaming in 215 countries.
Continuity
Vodafone has been working with Lebara since 2007 and is Vodafone’s oldest MVNO partner in the UK.
Commenting on the new deal, Vodafone UK strategy and wholesale director Vishal Dixit has welcomed the agreement.
“We’re delighted to be able to ensure Lebara Mobile customers can access the latest technologies that will give them improved coverage, reliability and speed, as well as access to Vodafone’s network when they are abroad.
Lebara UK commercial director Rajesh Dongre hailed its partnership with Vodafone and has looked ahead to its introduction of 5G.
“Our partnership with Vodafone will also provide some of the very latest innovations, such as 5G, at a time when connected devices are playing an increasingly central role in all our lives.”
