The operator joins the likes of O2, Carphone Warehouse and EE as official stockists of the device
Vodafone has joined the likes of O2 and EE by becoming the latest UK operator to stock the Doro 6520 handset in both its retail and online stores.
The 3G device, which has been available to purchase in the UK since September, comes with features designed for the Swedish manufacturer’s core audience of over 65s. It comes with hearing aid capability, a large display and widely spaced keys. Users can also access web, emails and social media apps such as Facebook. Doro’s latest advertising campaign will also feature the handset alongside 8030 and 820 Mini smartphones.
It is available for £70 on prepay deals, with Carphone Warehouse being another confirmed stockist. Doro UK and Ireland managing director Chris Millington said: “The Doro 6520 is quickly becoming a hero product for us within our feature phone range – its success has been further confirmed with this additional listing.
“We are excited to build on our product offering with Vodafone UK, as well as offer its customers a device that is stylish and easy-to-use with some great new functionality including a web browser and Facebook.”
