Operators become the 19th and 20th UK stockists of the “easy to use” and “affordable” senior market feature phone

Doro has signed up Vodafone and EE to stock its entry level prepay feature phone, Phone Easy 508.

The “simplistic” candy bar shaped device, which was first unveiled back in February 2014, has been hailed by the Swedish manufacturer as its “best selling device”.

Features on the phone , targeted predominantly at the senior market, includes large keys, adjustable text size, extra loud volume, bluetooth, FM radio (when the headphones are plugged in), torch, alarm clock and a calendar with a reminder setting.

Doro claims feature phones continue to be an important market for Doro in the UK, with approximately half of all seniors still looking for this type of device for their next or first mobile purchase.

Doro UK and Ireland MD Chris Millington said: “This device has done fantastically well for us since its launch and its success is further championed through these new listings with Vodafone and EE. We pride ourselves in our offering of well designed and easy-to-use phones for every ability at all price points.”

The addition of EE and Vodafone takes the number of stockists selling the device in the UK to 20, joining Carphone Warehouse, Tesco Mobile, Clove, Amazon, Buymobilephones.net and Argos amongst others.

It costs £20 and is available in ‘graphite’ from EE or in ‘pearlescent white’ through Vodafone.
