Virgin Media O2 is guaranteeing customers minimum download speeds of 20Mbps in every room of the house or get £100 credit back.
It claims to offer broadband download speeds 22 times faster than the national average and its connectivity means that everyone in different rooms of the house can use the internet simultaneously.
Virgin Media is promising download speeds twice as fast as the next fastest WiFi guarantee offered by other providers.
If customers can’t download or stream in every room due to WiFi speeds less than 20Mbps, then they can access three WiFi pods to boost connectivity or £100 credit back if the pods fail.
Virgin Media O2 chief operation officer Jeff Dodds said: “Delivering fast and reliable broadband is at the heart of our business. We know how important seamless connectivity is, and as our customers’ needs evolve beyond just speed, we’ll continue to enhance our products and services to ensure we meet those needs.
“That’s why we’re investing to improve our Connect app and have today launched our market-leading WiFi guarantee so our customers can work, play and stream safely in the knowledge their connectivity needs are covered.”
Virgin Media’s WiFi guarantee will be included for free in Gig 1 broadband and Volt bundles.
Customers currently using M50 to M500 Fibre packages can add the WiFi for £8 a month.
