Forest project plants trees for partners

Billing and customer management platform Union Street is teaming up with forest specialist, ReforestACTION in a pledge to plant one tree a year for every partner it works with.

ReforestACTION has financed more than 12 million trees across 35 countries.

Union Street MD Vince Disneur (pictured) said: “So far, we have planted more than 2,000 trees around the world’s rainforests and this number will grow as our business does. In time, our plan is to plant even more trees here in the UK.”

Union Street was acquired last year by Daisy founder Matthew Riley and merged with channel software vendors Aurora and Shaftesbury Systems, also owned by Riley).

Union Street now serves a partner base of over 850 companies and, combined, its solutions are used to process circa £2bn of retail billing per annum.
