Green S6 edge and blue S6 versions of the manufacturer’s flagships handsets to go on sale in the UK from July

Samsung has unveiled the ‘Emerald Green’ Galaxy S6 edge and ‘Blue Topaz’ Galaxy S6. They will go on sale in the UK from July 1.

The green S6 edge (pictured) will be available to buy from all major high street retailers and operators including Carphone Warehouse, EE, O2, Vodafone and Three, while the blue S6 will be available to buy exclusively from Samsung Experience Stores and Carphone Warehouse until August 12.

Prices start at £34.99 per month with an upfront cost of £29.99. They are now available to pre-order and join the existing line-up of ‘Gold Platinum’, ‘White Pearl’ and ‘Black Sapphire’ devices currently on sale.

In addition from July 1, customers looking to switch to a Samsung handset will be offered assistance upon purchase in order to ease difficulties traditionally associated with transferring content, contacts and other information.

Samsung UK and Ireland vice president of mobile and IT Conor Pierce labelled the new colour variants “ideal fashion accessories for style-conscious individuals looking for a smartphone that really stands out”.

The Galaxy S6 and S6 edge were unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 28 before going on sale globally from April 11.
