The Galaxy Z Flip 5G is available in the UK from August 7
Samsung has today (July 22) unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip 5G smartphone, with the foldable phone set for release next month.
It comes a few months after the Korean vendor launched the Galaxy Z Flip smartphone back in February.
Although retail availability and pricing has yet to be confirmed, Samsung has revealed it will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset.
The smartphone will launch in the UK on August 7.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be available in either grey or bronze, and will be encased in glass with a haze finish.
Samsung’s latest flagship features a 6.7-inch FHD+ flex display and weighs 183 grams.
There is a 10MP selfie camera on the front, with a rear dual camera consisting of a 12MP ultra wide camera and 12MP wide angle camera.
It is supported by 8GB RAM and has 256GB of internal storage, while the battery is 3,300mAh.
There is also Flex Mode which allows for the device, when free standing, to split into two four-inch screens, with content at the top being controlled by the bottom half.
Samsung is also expected to launch its latest Note series next month.
