Oppo has announced its Western European strategy and business updates as well as its first offline launch in two years in Paris.
The Oppo Reno8 series event will take place in Paris on August 31, and it will go live on its Europe’s YouTube channel from 14:30 CET on the same day.
The new series showcases a line of camera-focused smartphones that features low-light imaging capabilities, as well as its first tablet- the Oppo Pad Air.
Updates
Oppo’s shipments have increased by 16 per cent globally and 94pc in Western Europe year-on-year, and is now ranked as the 4th smartphone brand.
Shipments also rose by 56pc in the UK during H1 2022, and the launch of Oppo’s foldable device, the Find N, means the brand is ranked third in global foldable shipments.
Sales of the recently launched Find X5 Pro and Find X5 have increased by 88pc compared to Find X3 and Find X3 Pro last year.
Targeting markets
In Western Europe, Oppo will aim to focus on targeting the mid to high-end market with the product lines Find and Reno, and will then expand its product portfolio with IoT.
The Find series is Oppo’s ultra-premium imaging flagship and uses the latest and most advanced imaging innovation and technology.
The Reno series is in the mid to high end segment and uses imaging capabilities, unique design and low-light video shooting capability.
