The phone manufacturer will work with UEFA to showcase inspirational moments from the Champions League to football fans around the world
Oppo has announced a two-year partnership with UEFA spanning different competitions including UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Futsal Champions League Finals and UEFA Youth League Finals.
The partnership means Oppo will appear on broadcast backdrops as well as perimeter advertising, website and social media of the UEFA Champions League.
Leading Oppo devices including upcoming IoT products will be featured, and football fans can go pitch-side and capture moments with an Oppo smartphone.
This sponsorship is one of many from Oppo who has existing sporting partnerships with Wimbledon, Roland-Garros and the International Cricket Council.
Oppo president of global marketing William Liu said: “At Oppo, we believe in the power of innovation to help us overcome life’s challenges, and this synergy with UEFA’s desire to fight in the face of adversity, makes this a perfect partnership.”
UEFA’s marketing director Guy-Laurent Epstein added: “Oppo is a global leader in mobile technology and together, we are looking forward to advancing our efforts of connecting and inspiring football fans around the world.”
