All employees will receive a bonus of £1930 each
After record Q1 profits, O2 has announced that its 6,500 employees will receive a bonus payment as the company ends its year-long employee incentive scheme.
The ‘See What You Can Do’ programme was a £10m employee incentive scheme which launched to motivate and reward the efforts of staff in helping to keep Britain connected during the pandemic.
The target was achieved and CEO Mark Evans announced that employees are set to receive £1,930 which will land in their May pay packs.
Evans said: “Our record-breaking results – including O2’s highest-ever first-quarter profit and an industry-leading number of customer connections at 36.6million – were driven by the extraordinary efforts of Team O2.
“I am delighted to reward and recognise them, with this bonus. I could not be prouder of the commitment they’ve shown to deliver for our customers and our business.”
