The vendor also confirmed 160 commercial 5G engagements
Nokia has announced it has struck 100 commercial 5G deals overall, with the vendor adding another 17 contracts during the third quarter.
It follows Nokia signing a significant 5G deal with BT in the UK, that was announced earlier this week.
In total Nokia has hit 160 commercial 5G engagements, including paid trials.
Nokia said the new contract wins ‘validate the company’s progress in strengthening mobile radio product portfolio as the transition to 5G continues’.
The vendor also revealed that its Enterprise customers make up 12 per cent of its total 5G deals. This includes recent private wireless deployments with Deutsche Bahn, Toyota Production Engineering and Sandvik.
On top of this Nokia has an 180-strong portfolio of private wireless customers that are expected to migrate over to 5G.
