Online mobile accessories retailer sees sales surge by 17 per cent on its previous best week in its history and 23 per cent from last year
Mobile Fun experienced a record seven days of sales during the second week of December, up 17 per cent on the previous busiest week in the company’s 13 year history.
From December 10-16, sales were up 23 per cent on the same period last year, with over 14,800 orders placed by consumers across all of Mobile Fun’s websites.
The online mobile accessories retailer, which delivers to 50 countries and said last month it expected sales to top £3 million in Q4, recently started opening its warehouse seven days a week to meet consumer demand.
Mobile Fun managing director Mohammed Hussain said (pictured): “The recently launched websites in Australia, Belgium and the US boosted our sales figures, while continuing demand for mobile accessories from our sister sites, such as LoveCases.co.uk, also contributed significantly.
“Hero devices, such as the iPad Mini and iPhone 5, are proving to be popular Christmas gifts, so we are stocking the widest range of accessories for these devices. In bringing these hero product accessories to market ahead of the festive period, we are sure to see sales jump even further in the run up to Christmas.”
