Former Computer 2000 employee Jodie Way appointed in mobile accessories team
Micro-P has appointed former Computer 2000 and Kensington employee Jodie Way as its new business manager for mobile accessories as part of an internal restructure.
Way, who spent seven years as national account manager for Kensington and worked at Computer 2000 for nine years, will head up Micro-P’s commercial team with a focus on retail, corporate and networks.
Her appointment will see Micro-P product manager Ross Dedman focus on independent retail, B2B mobile and traditional IT customers.
Micro-P distributes accessories from manufacturers including Nokia, Samsung, Jabra, Jawbone, Tech21 and Plantronics.
Micro-P general manager mobile John Doughty said the new team structure means all the firm’s customers can be catered for at the highest levels.
“Our strategy is to make sure all customers can access expertise relevant to their market segment and the team structure reflects this,” he said. “The team provide true added values, from tri-party planning with customer and vendor, to range planning, POS and bespoke marketing campaigns.”
Way added: “It’s essential to today’s mobile lifestyle, where people want enhanced ease of use, convenience, protection, or simply to personalise their handsets to reflect their taste. We are seeing such strong designs and innovation from this market.”
