XCover 5 will be available from £329
Samsung has announced that its latest rugged smartphone – the Galaxy XCover 5 will be available to UK audiences from March 12.
The Galaxy XCover 5 features a military standard certification, enhanced shock absorption which enables drops of up to 1.5m, and IP68-rated dust and water resistance meaning it can be submerged in water for 30 minutes.
The device comes equipped with the Exynos850 processor, 4GB RAM, and up to 64GB of internal storage.
It also has a 3,000mAh battery which supports fast-charging through USB and POGO pins.
The XCover 5 has a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera.
Samsung UK and Ireland director of B2B Joe Walsh said: “In a digital world, the role of the frontline worker is consistently becoming more challenging.

The Samsung XCover 5 will go on sale from March 12 and is priced at £329.
