JCB Phone, the official licensee for manufacturing rugged phones under the JCB brand, has appointed ex-Doro UK general manager Chris Millington (main pic) as global sales sirector .
Millington has held senior leadership and management roles at companies including Oregon Scientific, Sony, and Kenwood . He was Managing Director at Doro between 2005 and 2017, APAC Regional Director from 2014 to 2017 , and Group Brand and Marketing Director . In 2020, he joined Emporia Telecom as MD of the UK and Ireland , successfully launching the brand in retail
At JCB Phone, he will lead global sales strategies to enhance market presence and drive revenue growth.

Meanwhile, JCB Phone has launched a £90 feature phone , the Tradesman 4 , aimed at professionals in agriculture, construction, and other demanding industries .
The Tradesman 4 is IP69-certified , making it resistant to dust, dirt, and water submersion up to 1.2 metres for 60 minutes . It also meets MIL-STD-810G standards, ensuring durability against drops, shocks, and vibrations in harsh working conditions.
