Martijn Van Den Hout as joins Jabra sales director for western Europe after two years with Tech Data Mobile / Brightstar Europe
Accessories manufacturer Jabra has appointed former Tech Data Mobile director of accessories Martijn Van Den Hout as its sales director for western Europe.
Van Den Hout had been in his previous role for almost two years and prior to that was European business development manager at Brightstar for almost a year.
He left Tech Data Mobile in April and at the time was the latest senior executive to leave the Basingstoke-based hardware distributor, following UK and Ireland regional director Jim Michel and UK and Ireland sales director Steve Fraser.
Jabra, which specialises in Bluetooth headsets, has a presence in 24 European countries. In the UK its products are sold by retailers including Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4U, Currys, O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Three.
