Ingram Micro launches staff sales incentive with trip to Brazil

Distributor turned Milton Keynes head office into a samba-inspired celebration for launch of this year’s Presidents Club rewards scheme

Ingram Micro UK will whisk a number of its staff off to Rio de Janeiro as part of its 2016 Presidents Club rewards scheme.

The distributor unveiled this year’s reward with a samba-inspired launch event, transforming the fourth floor of its Milton Keynes head office into a Brazilian carnival on May 12.

Ingram Micro live performances from carnival dancers, a rainforest entrance walk way and an indoor remodel of Copacabana Beach. It hosted similar events for staff at its offices in Daventry and Crick last week.

IMG_7651-1Last year’s Presidents Club saw the distributor take a number of staff and 12 vendor partners to South Africa on a trip that included shark dives, safaris, Harley Davidson rides and a trip to the top of Table Mountain.

This year, The President’s Club is being sponsored by Dell, Canon, Epson, LG, HPE, HP, Lenovo, D-Link, Cisco, Jabra, Acer and Microsoft. Staff are rewarded for achieving sales targets within the business.

Ingram Micro UK and Ireland VP & Country Chief Executive Brent McCarty said: “We are incredibly excited to be able to reveal Rio as the destination for Presidents Club 2016.
