Huawei has unveiled its latest foldable smartphone the Mate X2, with the handset expected to cost close to £2,000.
Although an official UK release date has not yet been announced by the vendor, with the handset available in select markets from February 25.
It is expected that the model will support Huawei’s own Harmony OS, as Huawei continues life after Google.
Huawei’s latest foldable features a ‘Falcon Wing Design’ and measures eight-inches when unfolded, alongside a 6.45-inch screen on the front.
The outer display comes with a 21:9 aspect ratio, while unfolded it has a ratio of 8:7.1, and screen resolution of 2,200 by 2,480 pixels.
It comes with a quad-camera set up, while the Mate X2 is powered by a Kirin 9000 5G chipset and refresh rate is 90Hz.
The quad-camera setup powered by Leica features a 50MP super sensing wide camera, 12MP telephoto camera, 8MP periscope telephoto and 16MP ultrawide lens.
The camera setup supports 10 times optical zoom, 20 times hybrid zoom and 100 times digital zoom.
On the front there is a 16MP selfie camera, while video is recorded at 1080p at 30fps.
Consumers have the option of four different colours; white, Black, crystal blue and crystal pink.
Other features include 8GB of RAM, a 4,500mAh battery, fast charging (55w) and dual SIM.
There is an option of either 256GB memory or 512GB of memory for consumers.
