Exertis appoints new head of UK marketing

Fitzsimons joined Exertis in 2012 as part of a graduate scheme 

Exertis has continued its recruitment drive with the appointment of a new UK head of marketing.

The distributor has appointed Rob Fitzsimons as UK head of marketing, where he will report to UK and Ireland managing director Paul Bryan.

Fitzsimons joined the company seven years ago through Exertis’ DCC graduate scheme and has gained experience across the enterprise, business and consumer divisions according to Bryan.

He joined Exertis’ DCC graduate sales and marketing scheme in 2012 after majoring in marketing from Seton Hall university.

Commenting on his new role at Exertis, Fitzsimons said: “I am looking forward to the challenge of leading our UK marketing team.

“We have a great foundation to work from and a highly experienced marketing team committed to provide our vendor partners and customers with programmes that deliver return on investment and opportunities to grow their business.”
