Partnership with B2B telecom and solution provider sees GPS Telecom join the AbzorbPlus+ partner programme

GPS Telecom has partnered with Abzorb to offer bespoke airtime and data packages to its customers.

The deal will see GPS Telecom join Abzorb’s AbzorbPlus+ partner programme, which offers partners the ability to create and manage their own mobile and data packages, including broadband and BlackBerry as well as billing.

More than 200 businesses have signed up to the programme since it was first launched in June 2010.

Abzorb provides dedicated support teams, account management and training on a range of products.

GPS Telecom’s staff have now received their sales and operations induction and BlackBerry solutions training through Abzorb’s own academy. Training includes an introduction to Abzorb and Vodafone, networks, tariffs, mobiles and broadband, as well as training on BlackBerry, iPad and iPhone solutions.

GPS Telecom CEO Sean Le Tissier said: “With clients from small to large in the corporate and retail sectors, as well as an extensive fixed-line dealership channel, it is important for us to provide a mobile solution that can be integrated into our existing one-bill solution.

“What impressed us about the AbzorbPlus+ Mobile proposition is that it allows us to provide a complete telecommunication solution under our own billing platform instead of outsourcing to other network providers.”

Abzorb managing director Mike Walsh (pictured) said: “The Abzorb ethos of excellence in customer experience delivered by highly qualified sales and operations teams is matched by GPS, and means we are both well placed in today’s competitive market to meet our customers’ increased demands.”
