Retailer refreshing store design to introduce a fresh approach, beginning with a trial at its shop in Abergavenny, South Wales

Get Connected has begun trials on a new store design as it looks to “liven up” its image on the high street.

Trials began earlier this month in its shop in Abergavenny, South Wales, and included a redesigned logo that will feature both inside and outside. The new logo has already appeared on the company’s official website.

Get Connected is modernising its 70-store estate throughout Wales and south-west England in the coming months, with improvements set to include the introduction of flat-screen televisions displaying the latest offers in-store.

The retailer has not put a time frame on the trial, and it said the new design will be rolled out across all of its stores when it feels completely satisfied with the look and feel of the trial store.

Get Connected managing director Damian Cole (pictured) said: “We’ve stuck with the same interior design of our stores for a few years now and we felt it was time to liven things up with a fresh approach to draw in customers.”
