O2 Direct Partner forced to relocate for second time in five years

Pure Telecom has been forced to relocate for a second time in five years, as a result of continued growth at the firm.

The Shrewsbury-based B2B O2 Direct Partner has moved into the new purpose built 4,392 square two-story office, which is located just a stone’s throw from its previous and smaller (3,100 foot) home.

The new office features dedicated training suites for both staff and visiting customers, as well as product demonstration areas.

Pure Telecom founder and managing director Matt Sandford said: “We were beginning to outgrow our old offices and need to start planning for the future. We’ve had exponential growth for the past eight years and each time both turnover and profitability has increased.

Staff growth

Since its last move, Pure has seen staff numbers more than double from just six five years ago to 16 today. Sandford said the new offices can accommodate around 30 staff, and plans to add at least five – taking numbers to 21, in the new year.

New staff, he says, will focus on sales and support for the B2B dealer’s hosted and digital product portfolio.

“The company is in a very good place to cater for the new innovation coming to market. We are hitting all the right numbers, so it’s therefore important that we keep investing in the right areas.”
