Rebrand places unified communications at centre of the firm’s marketing

Unified comms provider Ethos has rebranded and launched a website as part of a new strategy that will see an increasing focus on the SME market.

The London-based firm a managed service contract has a new strapline, “Think Unified”, and is placing voice at the centre of its proposition, As part of the new strategy, the firm is recruiting additional sales staff to join the 200 strong team and is increasing its tradeshow presence as a means of growing the number of firms it supplies.

It has recently secured a managed service contract to provide voice services to a national estate agents but it is the lower end of the market where it feels it can vastly increase its presence.

“We’re really pushing on anything that is UC and mobile integration,” voice and data managing director Matt Hill told Mobile News. “We’ve done a lot of big-end enterprise stuff so we really wanted to push our marketing at the same time to companies with 50 – 100 users. SMEs can really benefit from a unified communications approach. Until now, UC has largely been the preserve of big business – we want to change that.”

The firm, which serves 3,000 businesses and provides services through O2 and BT, has already exhibited at Kent SMEs and the National Facilities Show at the London ExCel as part of that strategy.

Hill says the latter had particularly “good results” generating hundreds of leads from companies of all sizes.
